Santiago López is an Associate Professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington–Bothell. He holds a PhD in Geography and the Environment from the University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on the human and physical dimensions of global environmental change, with special emphasis on land use and land cover transformations and climate change using Geographic Information Science perspectives.
