Dr. Allison Hintz is a Professor of mathematics education in the School of Educational Studies at the University of Washington Bothell and PI in the Goodlad Institute. She is a researcher who studies learning and teaching of mathematics alongside educators to create experiences where children are heard, understood, and inspired as mathematical sense-makers. She is a co-author of several books, including the newly released second edition of Intentional Talk and Listening: How to Structure and Lead Productive Mathematical Discussions.
